Rubber flat roofing and single-ply techniques are not too different from traditional felt roof methods. If the original base layer of wooden sheets are rotten or warped, then they will be replaced. But the top waterproof layer is no longer a series of bitumen based felts bonded together using heat from a gas torch or hot fluid bitumen.
For rubber roofs we use the more advanced rubber sheet and cold adhesive system that results in less mess and a stronger bond. This results in a longer lasting, harder wearing and better looking roof, lasting for many more years.
